I guess Blues management frequents NHL Hockey Online.

Blues President John Davidson announced that the club has relieved Head Coach Andy Murray of his coaching duties (something I eluded to just three days ago).  The team has in turn named Davis Payne the interim head coach.

Team President John Davidson has preached to Blues fans that the team is building from within and that they are in a youth movement.  To counteract his promises, Davidson has brought in a coach who favors veterans over youth.

“Darryl Sydor is a true professional in our game," he said. "He's a proven winner who brings valuable leadership to our blue line and will be a positive mentor for our younger defensemen."

nd fix this hole in the lineup?

“Camp is only a few days old,” stated Blues President John Davidson earlier this week, “There will be some movement with players headed to Peoria and other kids going back to Junior. But we're going to look at people and see what we have. Again, it's opportunity for other people, too.”
