He had a bit of an off-year last season scoring just 39 goals, but he has proven in the past that he is effective when paired with another dynamic player. Ales Hemsky of the Oilers has been getting praise the past few seasons of being a top-10 forward in the league, so these two skaters may find a way to make magic together. Add a healthy Shawn Horcoff or the recently-acquired Patrick O'Sullivan at center, this could be another top line that Heatley could be a part of.

was used in many defensive roles for the Senators, as well as playing on the second line behind the Jason Spezza line most nights. Ottawa gets the starting goalie that they have been desperately searching for in Patrick Leclaire as well. Leclaire, bothered by injury all season, has played in just twelve games this season, recording a dismal 3.83 goals against average and a .867 save percentage. But Leclaire has been a bright for Columbus in the past on non-playoff teams, as his career numbers show an impressive .907 save percentage and a 2.82 goals against average.
